    The Street Fest runs from Thursday(August 5th) to Saturday(August 7th) from 9 am to 9pm in downtown Woodstock. We added Sunday to the weekend as well. It will be dedicated for the annual Show & Shine Car Show for the United Way.

Woodstock's former city development commissioner is running once again for a city council position. Paul Plant ran for the city/county position back in 2006. Plant lost his bid for that seat to Sandra Talbot and Pat Sobeski. [more]
